Industries, the old and the new.

No chart could have said it better. Leading adoptation of the rapidly evolving data driven world are internet and social sector related companies, whose offerings far outnumber the availability of APIs from the past leaders of the 20th century. Can these dinosaurs evolve into an Application Jurassic Park?

Clearly, the older brick and mortar industries that defined the baby boomers age are lagging behind when it comes to APIs. This should not be a surprise, but there is a reason why the fastest growing companies are in the Cloud and Internet industries!
